How to get there:
From the north
If you are coming from Brazil, from the border between Santana do Livramento city and Rivera department, take route 5 heading south. Travel across the Tacuarembó, Durazno, Florida and Canelones departments. In Canelones, take route 11 until you reach Atlántida and then take the bridge. Follow the instructions in order to take route Interbalnearia heading East until you reach Punta del Este.
From the west:
From Concordia bridge - Salto: Take route 3, towards Paysandú. Travel across Rio Negro, Flores and San Jose departments. In San Jose take route 11 Canelones. When you reach Atlántida take the bridge. Follow the instructions in order to take route Interbalnearia heading East until you reach Punta del Este.
From General Artigas International Bridge (Colón - Paysandú): Take route 3 and follow the same direction as if you were coming from Concordia Bridge.
From General San Martin International Bridge (Puerto Unzué - Fray Bentos): Take route 2 in Fray Bentos, travel across Soriano Department, and take route 1 towards Montevideo and then route Interbalnearia heading East.
From the south:
Take route 1 in Colonia, travel across Montevideo Department and then take route Interbalnearia heading East.
From the east:
If you come from Bage (Brazil), take route 8, travel across Cerro Largo, Treinta y Tres and Lavalleja Deparments. When you reach Mariscala, take route 39 and travel across Aiguá, San Carlos and Maldonado cities (This will be your final destination.)
If you are coming from Pelotas (Brazil) via Yaguarón, take route 18 until Treinta y Tres, taking then route 8 and then route 39 and following the same route as the one mentioned above.
From Chuy, take route 39, travel across Rocha Deparmtent until you arrive to Maldonado Department, then travel until San Carlos city. Then take route 39 heading South.
